B Tech Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility depends on the programme, institution and admission route. The AICTE Approval Process Handbook 2024–2027 lists undergraduate Engineering & Technology programmes as generally four years.

Its 10+2 framework requires relevant subjects specified for the discipline under Table 8.4, with at least 45% marks in the applicable subjects taken together, or 40% for reserved-category candidates under that framework. These are baseline provisions, not a universal admission rule for every college or examination.
